Before Raya, it was Ramadan. Ramadan i s the ninth month of the Islamic calendar ; Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting. During this time, I would always eat lunch in my room because Aini (my close Muslim friend) is fasting, and then in the evening, we would buka puasa (the time when the fasting for the day ends) together~ After that, we would chat in the hostel canteen for about 2 hours.
