Work before Raya

Before Raya, it was Ramadan. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar; Muslims worldwide observe this as a month of fasting. During this time, I would always eat lunch in my room because Aini (my close Muslim friend) is fasting, and then in the evening, we would buka puasa (the time when the fasting for the day ends) together~ After that, we would chat in the hostel canteen for about 2 hours.

My Mid-term break was in conjunction to Hari Raya, so we get a 1-week long holidayyyyy~ Finally! After 8 weeks in Uni. It's not that I dislike being in Uni (in fact, I like it very much), but I feel like my personal time has decreased. I have no time to draw my own stuff, watch anime, etc, so this holiday is like a blessing.

First off! I went home early on Thursday night. Was supposed to have dance class, but I couldn't wait to go home and had cramps earlier, so I skipped (I'm guilty k). Then work on Fri and Sat. I only teach kids on Sat and Sun, so Fri is my free day where I'm the student instead and my boss is my teacher. I used to be a student there (still is) before I entered Uni. On Fri, I'll do whatever I fancy. From assignments to art and crafts. This Raya, I figured that I would just slack off so I went to do some crafts inside XD

FRI

These boards are vanishing quickly 'coz everyone wants one, so
me and Sis hid some among unwanted newspaper for ourselves. >.>

I love mixing and making colors! <3

Ta-da~! I still have the back of the board to decorate,
so both sides can be used.

Sweets! Whenever I'm hungry, I'll go searching
for snacks at the mini kitchen behind....

SAT

I only have one student on Saturdays, but sometimes I'll take over some of my boss's students if he's busy or out. Some students are hard to communicate with, because they're not sure what they want or like, so I'll always wreck my brain to bring up topics to talk about... Maybe it can help me build up my social skill.. Hopefully...

Anyway, there's another class of kids on Sats. They are so cuteeeee!! They're so noisy playing sometimes, but I guess that's kids for you.

One of my fav kids from the other class <3
He refers to me as 'Jie Jie' (older sister) instead of 'Teacher' \(^_^)/

Boss bought these pudding for us staffs =D It's nice!

Rare digital drawing. I like the traditional way more... >_<

Covering up holes on the floor so it doesn't cut anyone's feet.

<3

Work was off for Sunday~~ It's been a while since I took a rest from work~ I have nothing better to do at home anyway. XD

MMU Registration Day May Intake (25/5)

Can't sleep the previous night coz I was too anxious >.< But apparently, I will have nothing to worry about. I didn't know Orientation Week would be this fun. Before heading out.  Feels like I'm not in Malaysia... haha XD  Arrived! <3  Waiting to enter Grand Hall...      Arrived at 8.30am and paid for my insurance and waited for my schoolmates after that. Entered Grand Hall at about 9am. The seniors stood in a row at each side and clapped their hands, welcoming us freshies in. I have no idea what they're chanting about though.      We went in and registered ourselves. There were a lot of people... >.< Like pasar malam. I met a friend of Ben's there, Sandy. We hit it off immediately.      After that, I followed Ben to register hostel rooms. We went to the boy hostel and I didn't know. No one told me that girls must register at the girl hostel... OTZ So peopl...

Shopping for Japan trip and CNY

Exam week is here and I only have 3 papers.. There's a long break between my papers so I went home since it's been a long time.. The house looks different everytime I go back because we are renovating.      For the past few months, or should say years, I've been sharing a bed with mom. I has come to the point where I'm too big to even fit in -.- so they moved my sleeping quarter to my cousins' room. I prefer sleeping there as I have my own space after soooo long.. And it's very comfortable. I like to just lay in it at night and ponder about life.      On Saturday, we went shopping! I've never really shopped properly since I've entered MMU, which is about 7 months... because the time constraint just doesn't allow me to. We shopped for CNY but I think it's mostly for our Japan trip this October.. >.> I think I can just re-wear last year's outfits since some of them are still unused. My God, I sound like a cheapskate. ...
