An impromptu trip to Japan?!

Yesterday, the President of Japanese Cultural Society proposed a trip to Japan March next year since Air Asia is having promos. Everyone got in a frenzy on whether they wanna go or not. One of them booked and suddenly the following people have to buy the tickets at a much expensive price. Originally, it was RM666, and it became RM900+ for the rest. Half of us decided not to go (including me) because it was too expensive.

Anyway, I slept on the floor for the first time last night. Me and sis got it down so we can lay on it and watch Big Hero 6, and I kinda got lazy to drag it up again so it remained down. I guess the better air ventilation in the middle of the room must have gotten to me, because I slept well and woke up at... 12.30PM?! I freaked out a little because I was supposed to study the whole day.

Ended up most of the time discussing about the trip to Japan. Aarun found an earlier one on October this year, and it is much cheaper so we opted for that. I asked Mom and she said yes. I'm so happy~ I really like trips since I rarely have one, and Mom thought Sis and me ought to see the world more.

This is pretty much my schedule for January..
Luckily, it has calmed down now. I just have
to sit for 3 papers and I'm free~~~

Mom brought us out for dinner~ There's practically nothing nice to eat in MMU anymore.. =(

After the meal, I went back and the chat to Japan is still ongoing. We all (7 of us) are skeptical about buying the October one because we would be purchasing it by ourself, and not in a group which means things can go veryyyy wrong. Like what if your friend betrays you and not buy the tickets instead. Or someone bought the wrong tickets or someone doesn't have enough money? The promo would end tonight and we were all so winded up.

Actually, we lined up who to buy first and stuff but Jared doesn't have enough money to buy first. Ended up, all of us tried to buy at the same time. Some, like me, procrastinated too long and in the end, only Aarun got the promo price of RM595. =_= At this point, he was the only one who has purchased. The rest of us got 'scooped out' of the flight because there's no seats left. FOL

We panicked and I refreshed and refreshed. I managed to get in the same flight as Aarun. When the others try again, the flight is totally filled. We panicked again. Like WTH?! Now, only me and Aarun confirmed and paid. The rest can't get in.

After that, the rest tried to find other dates and managed to find a closer one, also promo price but they'll be going back one day later which means Aarun & me will go back alone and the rest of them a day after. =__= What kind of trip is this... It's like 'Uni students flight bookings gone wrong' hahaha. At this moment when I'm typing this, some of them are still in the process of purchasing the tickets and it is getting more pricey. QAQ

But! All in all, I hope this will be an enjoyable trip with my friends even though we will be separated at the end by one day >.> I'm kinda scared to be separated because it is an unknown place for us all. We have not been there before with the exception that Eli, Kah Loon and me will be going on a homestay programme this June.. Hopefully, we'll be able to travel better by then. Most of all, I'm most grateful to the me last time for saving up all the salaries that I can now pay for my tickets.. but still, I'm gonna work at semester breaks so I can save up more.

Wish us luck!

MMU Registration Day May Intake (25/5)

Can't sleep the previous night coz I was too anxious >.< But apparently, I will have nothing to worry about. I didn't know Orientation Week would be this fun. Before heading out.  Feels like I'm not in Malaysia... haha XD  Arrived! <3  Waiting to enter Grand Hall...      Arrived at 8.30am and paid for my insurance and waited for my schoolmates after that. Entered Grand Hall at about 9am. The seniors stood in a row at each side and clapped their hands, welcoming us freshies in. I have no idea what they're chanting about though.      We went in and registered ourselves. There were a lot of people... >.< Like pasar malam. I met a friend of Ben's there, Sandy. We hit it off immediately.      After that, I followed Ben to register hostel rooms. We went to the boy hostel and I didn't know. No one told me that girls must register at the girl hostel... OTZ So peopl...

Shopping for Japan trip and CNY

Exam week is here and I only have 3 papers.. There's a long break between my papers so I went home since it's been a long time.. The house looks different everytime I go back because we are renovating.      For the past few months, or should say years, I've been sharing a bed with mom. I has come to the point where I'm too big to even fit in -.- so they moved my sleeping quarter to my cousins' room. I prefer sleeping there as I have my own space after soooo long.. And it's very comfortable. I like to just lay in it at night and ponder about life.      On Saturday, we went shopping! I've never really shopped properly since I've entered MMU, which is about 7 months... because the time constraint just doesn't allow me to. We shopped for CNY but I think it's mostly for our Japan trip this October.. >.> I think I can just re-wear last year's outfits since some of them are still unused. My God, I sound like a cheapskate. ...
