I'm 19?!

Nothing was out of place the day before.

Was still having club event.

Trying to keep myself busy as not to give away that tomorrow is my special day.

Had dinner with Giang. I still prefer Japan's soba.

Finished up quickly because he has a guitar lesson at 8.

I'm always especially panicky the day before. Couldn't resist not looking at the time every 10 mins or so. Wanted to wait till 12 so Sis and me can celebrate with each other as always.

About 10 mins before the day turns tomorrow, we decided to go 7-11 for supper coz we were super hungry. As we were walking through the aisle, I happened to look over at the door and spot Edmund standing there looking at us. It was creepy. He kept following us so we tried to do everything quickly. Pay and go.

We headed to the toilet as we really had to pee. "Don't go!! Wait here la pls", said Edmund. Asked whether he was waiting for a friend. Said yes. Nevermind, we made our way to the loo, ignoring his persistent refusal. More like we RAN to the loo because he was going to chase after us.

Panic set in. Anyway, we waited a bit and felt like taking a walk around the school. Around the school, we walked, reminiscing the past which happened to be one of our favorite topic. Wondered whether Mom will call or not. Kinda missed her. We haven't been properly spending time with her nowadays because of our hectic schedules (hers and ours).

Walk around and around. 10 mins passed.

We walked back to 7-11 to retrieve our bags and supper which we left outside with Edmund.

I suddenly see a lot of my close friends gathered together. Holding cameras and recording.

I didn't know how to react so we just stood there, calm and composed, trying to assess the situation.

Our cake with burnt out and melted candles which couldn't be used anymore because we went walking around. I felt really guilty.

It was our first birthday surprise. I still can't believe it actually happened. Thanksss a lot to Giang for initiating it >_<

Eli and Jared gave us each a big bottle of sweetsssss. So sweet of them. Literally.

And to top it off, the messages and drawing are so cute!! There's a letter inside the bottle some more!!

Now I will remember them every time I get a sweet to keep me awake at night during assignments.

Thanks guys! It was really yummy and cute. Heard a guy wanted to buy it for me but ended up sharing the cost with other friends. Lol

Next up! Ken actually treated us with Starbucks. I went with Fion and Eli as well.

Mom called and wished us Happy Birthday. Said she's coming for dinner and asked them to join us as well and that's how we ended up in Sunway. I was very excited because it's been a long time since I went to Sunway Pyramid and I have always wanted to show them Sunway Pyramid because they rarely go there.

We ate in our favorite pasta restaurant at Asian Avenue. I'm glad my friends didn't acted differently as usual when Mom's there. Giang was even making an effort to chat with her. Mom thinks Eli is cute. ^_^

Mom went back by herself and we followed Ken back to my hostel. Halfway back, we passed by the SkyPark and decided to take a look down from the top because Giang is very scared of height. *snickers* 

He keeps saying "I hate you all". Hahahaha We attempted to pull him to the center but to no avail.

Managed to drag him with us but he was trembling so much, Poor him. I felt bad for doing it but I think it would serve as a big accomplishment for him. #missionaccomplished

It was getting late so we headed back. Just right before we went our separate ways to our own hostels, Giang shoved something from under his shirt into our hands.

Yayyyy New powerbank. I was actually quite touched because we said before that our powerbank (which we shared) is dying.

A received an sms asking me to "collect my cupcake delivery" from the library counter.

Then, I got suspicious. Like who delivers to the library? >.>

It must be a prank, I thought so I went along with it. I crept along the walls of the library but I couldn't find anything. I looked more properly and saw a part of a box at the counter so I approached the guard sitting there. Underneath the box was a letter addressed to me so I thought that this must be it and went away with it.

Turned out it is a love letter. >.> From the sound of it, it seems to be one of my friends but I couldn't figure out who because nobody was actually behaving differently. Anyway, he left a clue inside the letter but till this day, I still couldn't figure it out. I decided to leave it as that because some things are better left unknown. But still, it would be nice to know as well.

On the weekend, I set out with the rest of the homestay people to receive the Japanese people at the airport. Eli and me received an Oreo cheesecake from Azfar and the rest. It's been so long since I have a cake! This is also the first year I didn't celebrate my birthday with my family and a cake because I was busy so I didn't get to go back home. T_T
