Top 5 Young Leader

So, I secretly joined this award for Young Leaders with only my club president and a few close friends knowing. I sent in my nomination last week and was happy to be shortlisted as Top 5! My Mom is very happy when she found out about it as my sis is also nominated for the Aspire Award.

This Young Leaders awards are for students currently in their 6th semester or below who has the initiative to join and improve themselves through club activities despite being new to the university. I am in my 6th sem, the last sem eligible to join so logically, I would've thought I'm the oldest there but nopeeeee. I am the youngest, only female and Creative Multimedia student shortlisted. Apparently some seniors are in it I don't know how they got in which I think is quite unfair because they did not fulfill the criteria but I can't do anything about it except try my best in the interview. =) I must keep a positive mind and stay true to myself. I really really hope I can win but regardless of the result, I think being nominated itself is a good thing already. ^_^ I really want to make my faculty proud because we rarely win in anything and also to prove to all the people who thought I couldn't do it. I was a lame-o in secondary school hahahahaha This is a major personal achievement for me.

Anyway, wish me all the best. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed! <3

MMU Registration Day May Intake (25/5)

Can't sleep the previous night coz I was too anxious >.< But apparently, I will have nothing to worry about. I didn't know Orientation Week would be this fun. Before heading out.  Feels like I'm not in Malaysia... haha XD  Arrived! <3  Waiting to enter Grand Hall...      Arrived at 8.30am and paid for my insurance and waited for my schoolmates after that. Entered Grand Hall at about 9am. The seniors stood in a row at each side and clapped their hands, welcoming us freshies in. I have no idea what they're chanting about though.      We went in and registered ourselves. There were a lot of people... >.< Like pasar malam. I met a friend of Ben's there, Sandy. We hit it off immediately.      After that, I followed Ben to register hostel rooms. We went to the boy hostel and I didn't know. No one told me that girls must register at the girl hostel... OTZ So peopl...

Shopping for Japan trip and CNY

Exam week is here and I only have 3 papers.. There's a long break between my papers so I went home since it's been a long time.. The house looks different everytime I go back because we are renovating.      For the past few months, or should say years, I've been sharing a bed with mom. I has come to the point where I'm too big to even fit in -.- so they moved my sleeping quarter to my cousins' room. I prefer sleeping there as I have my own space after soooo long.. And it's very comfortable. I like to just lay in it at night and ponder about life.      On Saturday, we went shopping! I've never really shopped properly since I've entered MMU, which is about 7 months... because the time constraint just doesn't allow me to. We shopped for CNY but I think it's mostly for our Japan trip this October.. >.> I think I can just re-wear last year's outfits since some of them are still unused. My God, I sound like a cheapskate. ...
