New lunch experience

Anyone who sees me in uni knows that I usually only eat with my sis or some friends (on very rare occasions). I've been like that ever since I've started uni but it's not that I don't like people. I just feel tired socializing most of the time that I want to be left in peace during meal times. XD

But nowadays, I feel a new sense of pleasure eating with my club friends. Those that I have never really interacted with before. It started off with eating with my vice presidents because I want to know them better. It was strange at first but I am slowly starting to know them and I am glad I asked them out. We are of different races, genders and backgrounds so it was a relatively new experience for me but I really like them!

Slowly, it spread to eating with some of the divisions Head in the club. I realized that some of our personalities are quite similar and we can talk about anything! I really enjoy my time with them as they are quite responsive and I'm glad I braved myself in the first place. I wanted to be friends with all my members because I believe it will affect their performance in the club plus I want us all to be able to communicate comfortably among each other.

Next, I had a wonderful opportunity to eat with one of the juniors because he needed to consult the club t-shirt design with me. He's in Publicity Division but he doesn't really know how to use the softwares very well because he's relatively new so I taught him. We talked about ourselves over lunch and the next thing I know, he asked me out for lunch again. ^_^

At this point, I thought to myself;

"Wouldn't this be a great opportunity to accomplish my goal of being friends with everyone?"

And so I had my first JCS family lunch today with some juniors and seniors, about 10 of us. I'm really happy that most of the old comms came. We invited like only 3 juniors because we're afraid that fcm cafe will have no space. XD This is the first step to many more JCS lunches (I hope). I would like to slowly get to know more about other juniors too so wish me luck! 20+ more juniors to go!

XOXO

MMU Registration Day May Intake (25/5)

     Can't sleep the previous night coz I was too anxious >.< But apparently, I will have nothing to worry about. I didn't know Orientation Week would be this fun. Before heading out.  Feels like I'm not in Malaysia... haha XD  Arrived! <3  Waiting to enter Grand Hall...      Arrived at 8.30am and paid for my insurance and waited for my schoolmates after that. Entered Grand Hall at about 9am. The seniors stood in a row at each side and clapped their hands, welcoming us freshies in. I have no idea what they're chanting about though.      We went in and registered ourselves. There were a lot of people... >.< Like pasar malam. I met a friend of Ben's there, Sandy. We hit it off immediately.      After that, I followed Ben to register hostel rooms. We went to the boy hostel and I didn't know. No one told me that girls must register at the girl hostel... OTZ So peopl...

Shopping for Japan trip and CNY

     Exam week is here and I only have 3 papers.. There's a long break between my papers so I went home since it's been a long time.. The house looks different everytime I go back because we are renovating.      For the past few months, or should say years, I've been sharing a bed with mom. I has come to the point where I'm too big to even fit in -.- so they moved my sleeping quarter to my cousins' room. I prefer sleeping there as I have my own space after soooo long.. And it's very comfortable. I like to just lay in it at night and ponder about life.      On Saturday, we went shopping! I've never really shopped properly since I've entered MMU, which is about 7 months... because the time constraint just doesn't allow me to. We shopped for CNY but I think it's mostly for our Japan trip this October.. >.> I think I can just re-wear last year's outfits since some of them are still unused. My God, I sound like a cheapskate. ...
