Pre + Bonding camp + Extra

A day before our Japanese Cultural Society Bonding Camp, some of the facilitators gathered together to test the games and also prepare stuffs like tags and message boxes for everyone. I was the director for the camp because the Head of Event Division were busy with her final year stuff to be in-charge so took over . >_< Honestly, I was actually quite scared to take care of 30+ people, what's more with a majority of them being foundation kids. Turned out I don't even have to worry because they all behaved hahaha.

Folding boxes and preparing name tags. We were like factory workers haha

Tags designed by Fion. I like the design!

I bought some milk candies from Daiso to put inside everyone's message box.

-- DAY 1 --

MMU buses and vans were all booked by another club so we have no choice but to go by car; 9 cars in total. I went with Aarun and in his car, we put all the props and apparatus. Enjoyed the long car ride with mainly me talking until I'm tired. I bet his ears bled.

Horses from the field right opposite our bungalow. I found this bungalow for rm900 per night that can accommodate up to 34 people. Was so glad because we saved a lot on lodging! \^_^/ It even comes with kitchen utensils and a BBQ pit~ The beach is just a 5-minute walk across the road.

Schedule for my own reference. I'm obsessed with making lists and organizing things neatly.

The living room! One of the groups giving a presentation.

Boxes for everyone to write message to whoever they want. Each person will also be assigned a Mortal of whom they much take care in the camp. They will also in turn have an Angel to look after them.
.
Checking out the beach at dusk during free time. It was surprisingly clean! The tides were very high though.

Playing the Killer game at night. I looked bored because it IS boring to be a villager in this game because you practically have nothing to do except wait to be killed. >.> So you just sit around and get sleepier and sleepier...

-- DAY 2 --

During Ken's station game. I was in-charge of the Knot Hands station where the players have to untangle their arms without letting go of each other. It was funny looking at them getting tangled.

Waiting for other groups to come~ Unfortunately the tides were too aggressive and high that day so we didn't really get to play in the sea.

I like the clouds formation though!

Relaxing after all the station games~ This is my first bonding camp without getting wet \(^_^)/ Kind of miss the sea though.

With Panda while she waits for her turn to bathe~ my only selfie in the camp haha wish I could have taken more pictures

Jai setting up the BBQ pit. It took longer than I imagine to cook one food.

The BBQ took too long to cook so we took the fishballs and broccolis inside and steam them in the rice cooker like a steamboat while cooking the sausages with the wok in the kitchen hahah

Resting time after last activity.

Jai cooking steamed chicken in the kitchen. He's like a father XD

Done~! It was very yummyyyy. We didn't eat during the BBQ because we were busy cooking.

Radjie helping Aarun crack his back because he saw Radjie crack Dayana's back and wanted to try. There was no crack sound much to his disappointment. I guess because he have quite a flexible spine.

-- DAY 3 --

We woke up early and after breakfast, we did a sharing session. I'm glad to hear that everyone enjoyed the camp and made new friends. I also read all the messages in my origami message box and I was touched with what I received. Some were encouraging things that no one said to me before so it's a new feeling.

Before departing from Port Dickson, we headed towards the nearest McDonald and have a meal all together. The whole ground floor were flooded with our people hahaha.

In the camp, we kind of decided to go for ice-skating right after the camp because I won't be free after that. We YOLO-ed straight to Sunway to have dinner and then buy our gloves. Aarun, Jai and 1 more person haven't tried ice-skating before so I thought it would be a fun experience; fun for me to laugh i'm sorry.

Choosing gloves in Daiso because #cheap

But you know what?! The rink was closed due to lessons being held and we only found out once we reach. =/ They should post up their classes schedules.....

One thing I realized about guys is that they are veryyyy straightforward-thinking. At this one point, Fion needed to go to the restroom because of a stomachache and usually you would get the clue when someone stays in the toilet for long. It means they are unwell or need some time to do whatever they need righttttttt? But apparently the guys didn't think so.

Jared : Where's your another half?
Me : She needs some time in the toilet. To do something.
Naim : Why does she need some time?
Me : ....... (trying to be sarcastic) Maybe she's writing a veryyy long text message.
Nicholas : Why is she writing in the toilet?
Me : ..........................
Me : She has a stomachache okay.
Fion : (comes out)
Aarun : Hey, how was the unko (shit)?

After that, we walked around and decided to check out Doctor Strange but alas, all tickets are sold out. Next, we wanted to go for pool but the place look shady af and we felt really uncomfortable with all the smoking going on so we left. In the end, we decide to go to the SkyPark because some of us haven't go before.

Aarun was dying at this point because he was driving a lot that day, It was kind of funny to watch actually. Nicholas recommended a roti tissue place just behind the SkyPark and had our supper there. It was really sweet and yummy!

Ended up dead on bed when we got bad, Ken and Aarun slept over because they cannot tahan already. It was a very fruitful week. We might go ice-skating next week when Jai comes back from Penang! I won't let this chance pass especially since now they have the RM12 discount for students. =D

MMU Registration Day May Intake (25/5)

Can't sleep the previous night coz I was too anxious >.< But apparently, I will have nothing to worry about. I didn't know Orientation Week would be this fun. Before heading out.  Feels like I'm not in Malaysia... haha XD  Arrived! <3  Waiting to enter Grand Hall...      Arrived at 8.30am and paid for my insurance and waited for my schoolmates after that. Entered Grand Hall at about 9am. The seniors stood in a row at each side and clapped their hands, welcoming us freshies in. I have no idea what they're chanting about though.      We went in and registered ourselves. There were a lot of people... >.< Like pasar malam. I met a friend of Ben's there, Sandy. We hit it off immediately.      After that, I followed Ben to register hostel rooms. We went to the boy hostel and I didn't know. No one told me that girls must register at the girl hostel... OTZ So peopl...

Shopping for Japan trip and CNY

Exam week is here and I only have 3 papers.. There's a long break between my papers so I went home since it's been a long time.. The house looks different everytime I go back because we are renovating.      For the past few months, or should say years, I've been sharing a bed with mom. I has come to the point where I'm too big to even fit in -.- so they moved my sleeping quarter to my cousins' room. I prefer sleeping there as I have my own space after soooo long.. And it's very comfortable. I like to just lay in it at night and ponder about life.      On Saturday, we went shopping! I've never really shopped properly since I've entered MMU, which is about 7 months... because the time constraint just doesn't allow me to. We shopped for CNY but I think it's mostly for our Japan trip this October.. >.> I think I can just re-wear last year's outfits since some of them are still unused. My God, I sound like a cheapskate. ...
