Internship has been fun. My colleagues are really nice, they feel like friends instead. I'm still a little awkward with my supervisor because I naturally get anxiety when talking with my superiors. I'm always worried whether I'm doing okay or if they are just usually quiet. :\
This morning while waiting for the traffic light to turn green, I spotted Rav walking pass our car but he can't hear us because he's wearing his headphone. Rav is my colleague who sits just behind me and is the closest to my age so we talk a lot. I decided to YOLO and exited the car to catch up to him. He still couldn't hear me running. Should've seen the shock on his face when I tapped his shoulder! It's been ages since I walked on the path to DPulze. Kind of nostalgic since I used to walk to and fro DPulze often with sis and Giang before I had my car. We talked all the way and I was feeling so warm by the time I reached the office. Exercise always makes me super hungry. That morning walk managed to make me finish my lunch of rice and 3 bowls of soup plus a Milo drink.
Chui, the colleague beside me, recommended me to watch La La Land. I have only managed to watch half because it was getting late so I'll be finishing the other half sometime soon. Hopefully I don't forget about it. We talked about movies and places that we've traveled to. He's into crime/murder/psychological genre and said later he becomes like those characters in the movie. I have to prepare a barrier/fence between our tables then lol. I really enjoy a nice chat.
Tried to talk to my supervisor, Sandra, too. I'm not a good conversationalist but I tried haha. Asked her how long she usually stay back and she said it used to be midnight but since she's old d, latest will be 9pm. "It's the norm in the animation industry. It's heaven to be able to go back early." T_T
I realized there always isn't much time for me to do my own stuff once I come back from intern but I don't mind. At least I don't have to do assignments! I must sleep early every night too which means like right now. Gonna go have a swim with Eli and sis early tomorrow morning. Brrrr colddd
