Kuala Selangor with family~

So I went to Kuala Selangor with my family~ I used to travel anywhere with my extended family members so it was always fun but we've stopped doing that for a long time. Maybe around 5 years because we just can't afford.... Anyway! I am realllly happy because we get to travel together again! Haha~

We went to Kuala Selangor, Malaysia for an impromptu trip last week. It was the weekend before my final exam but I went anyway. Stayed there for 2 days and 1 night. It was quite rush but it was fun nevertheless.

Me and sis took pictures because if we don't, no one will... On the first night, our plan was to view the fireflies (I'd never seen them before) so I was very excited.

--DAY 1--
Chicken rice before starting our journey!

Coconut~ It is always readily available in Malaysia~ coz it's so hot everytime...

Arrived at the fish market~ Look at all those prawnsssss

Scenery along the way. Empty plot for palm oils...

We arrived!

Dock next to our rented house!

Outdoor dining

Cousins having fun blowing bubbles! Oh, childhood memories!

'Jinami'. Actually underaged to be playing but
Grandma taught us to so we can accompany
her to play whenever she wants. Even my
7-year-old cousin knows how to play...

Bubbles again

And again! =D

Planks were not stable but it's not stopping the boys! (And me)

Cousins and sis! Creative!

'ASDFGHJKL I'M SO HUNGRY,' said youngest cousin.

One's not too old to ride that. Haha~

Steamboat for dinner~

Sis reading the obvious-not-appropriate book but cousin was amused.

Time to sleep!

No pictures of fireflies because phones are not allowed....

--DAY 2--

Off to Bukit Malawati for some monkeys! Wait for me!
Coincidentally I was wearing a monkey-themed T-shirt that day.

Typical Malaysian breakfast in kopitiam~
Milo, half-boiled eggs and toast breads <3

Everybody waiting for their turn

Yeah yeah yeah~ Off to the monkeys!

Didn't take much pics of the monkeys coz was busy feeding them~

Japanese family on the right. Their kids are so cuteeee

Look what I found!

Alleyway beside a fish market.
I tried live oyster for the first time in my life.
It was very fresh and delicious!

'What chu 2 doing there?'

Fishessss again.

View at the restaurant we ate in.

Bye bye Kuala Selangor! I will miss you!

While uploading pictures to this post, I've come to a sad realisation : I only appeared 1 time in pictures... Except camho ones... Because I'm always the one behind the camera... TT^TT I must take note to ask someone to take my picture next time I go on a trip so I will have some pictures for memory..... OTZ

Bai!

MMU Registration Day May Intake (25/5)

Can't sleep the previous night coz I was too anxious >.< But apparently, I will have nothing to worry about. I didn't know Orientation Week would be this fun. Before heading out.  Feels like I'm not in Malaysia... haha XD  Arrived! <3  Waiting to enter Grand Hall...      Arrived at 8.30am and paid for my insurance and waited for my schoolmates after that. Entered Grand Hall at about 9am. The seniors stood in a row at each side and clapped their hands, welcoming us freshies in. I have no idea what they're chanting about though.      We went in and registered ourselves. There were a lot of people... >.< Like pasar malam. I met a friend of Ben's there, Sandy. We hit it off immediately.      After that, I followed Ben to register hostel rooms. We went to the boy hostel and I didn't know. No one told me that girls must register at the girl hostel... OTZ So peopl...

Shopping for Japan trip and CNY

Exam week is here and I only have 3 papers.. There's a long break between my papers so I went home since it's been a long time.. The house looks different everytime I go back because we are renovating.      For the past few months, or should say years, I've been sharing a bed with mom. I has come to the point where I'm too big to even fit in -.- so they moved my sleeping quarter to my cousins' room. I prefer sleeping there as I have my own space after soooo long.. And it's very comfortable. I like to just lay in it at night and ponder about life.      On Saturday, we went shopping! I've never really shopped properly since I've entered MMU, which is about 7 months... because the time constraint just doesn't allow me to. We shopped for CNY but I think it's mostly for our Japan trip this October.. >.> I think I can just re-wear last year's outfits since some of them are still unused. My God, I sound like a cheapskate. ...
