Hello~ How are you~
It's been a while since I've blogged about work. More like I've never blogged about it. =P But I realy want to show you the crafts I did. It's been a long time since I've done any craft anyway. I miss them. Boss will let me make samples sometimes so he can show it to the students for reference or something. =D
Ta daa~
On Saturday, a bunch of kids came to try out our classes. It was hectic, and I must admit that I'm a little lost in dealing with parents (because i don't have experience in that) so I just let the new teacher handled everything. OTZ I must learn... Many parents actually mistaken me for a student, and I don't blame them. I must've looked like some underage worker.
How I usually look at work.
Cute right?
The boy (4) above came with his sister. He seems shy at first but I never stopped smiling at him. I like kids okay.
After he's done with his drawings, I let him watch Spongebob Squarepants..
I tried to talk with him and he responded! >_< OMG I'M SO HAPPYYY... I asked him to call me 'jie jie' (big sister) because I can't bear him calling me 'teacher' because he's so cuteeeeeee. He's short-sighted so I carried him to let him see the Transformers poster more clearly because he likes Transformers. After that, whenever I opened my arms to him, he'll run towards me so I can carry him. <3 OMG MY KOKORO
Stuffs I drew on the whiteboard.
My two students. Blue (9), Pink(7)
Actually it's just one of them. The pink one used to be my student, but Boss transferred her to the new teacher because she teaches little kids. It was kind of awkward. The new teacher teaches her how to draw and after that, she doesn't want to draw anymore after one drawing. She wants to do art crafts, and the thing is, she kept coming and talking to me, oblivious to the new teacher. ._. OTZ She said she didn't see me for a long time already, and I'm glad she still remembers me.
A brief playtime while waiting for their parents.
I actually joined them ._.
I'm still a kid in the eye of my Boss and the new teacher.
Plus, I'm barely 18 yet.
The pink girl's Mom came to fetch her after playtime. Just before she go, she handed me something and said 'For you'. Boss looked at me inquisitively, and I looked at my palm. It was the plasticine snake that she was making earlier. I'm so touched that a girl of her age is capable of doing such things. =) It is also the first time I've received anything since I started teaching, and I'm grateful to know that all my hard work actually pays off. A gift from a young child is one of the most valuable thing anyone could ever receive.
The snake.
