Last week, we had a tour for JCS's Logistic Division where the leader showed us where to get which forms and from where. The girls were talking behind so I went ahead. I was looking presumably at the sky when I saw this in front of FCM's entrance :
WTF?! How can anyone be so cruel as to hang a baby bird on its leg up there? It was jerking around and I asked everyone to look up. Someone got a chair and we pulled it free.
We brought it to the security at STAD but the guard didn't know what to do with it, so she gave us a piece of newspaper to hold the bird. It was flapping around a lot, and making a lot of noises so we thought it must be hungry. We have absolutely no idea where to get its food, so it was decided that one of us have to bring it home.
Panda brought it back to her room, but she gave it to a senior, Man, because he has experience in taking care of a bird. I was so glad it was finally in good hands.
Until about 5 days later, we received the news that it died. Man doesn't know the reason why and we are puzzled as well, but I did expect this to happen. Taking the circumstances into account, it would be a miracle if it survives. It had started to learn how to walk recently...
The next evening after it died, the Logistic Division members met up. Man had already wrap it with a paper and put it in a plastic bag. We had a burial for it somewhere in the school. I didn't know what to feel, but I felt like tearing up when I hold his lifeless body in my hands. It was so sad.
I secretly named it Inari, but Man told us its name was Noshi. So Noshi it is then.
R.I.P Noshi. I will remember you even though it's only been a brief moment.
